2015 Regional Hope Conference is a Wrap!
Our first ever Regional Hope Conference was filled with movement, education, camaraderie and hope! With over 300 people attending in five locations across the province, this inaugural event was our most successful education event to date!
Parkinson Alberta was excited to offer our first ever live webcast at this event featuring both the Annual General Meeting and our keynote speaker, Dr. Becky Farley. The afternoon was an eventful experience as well with eleven speakers taking the stage throughout the five locations.
First and foremost we'd like to thank everyone who attended this premier education event! We'd also like to thank AbbVie for sponsoring and making sure that educating people living with and affected by Parkinson's continues to be a priority!
A big thank you to our incredible line up of speakers: Dr. Becky Farley, Dr. Wayne Martin, Dr. Janis Miyasaki, Dr. Justyna Sarna, Dr. Andrea Salmon, Dr. William Murphy, Dr. Denise Larsen, Karen Hunka, Kathryn Brosseau, Carin Jensen, Fiona Kirkby and Irene Forsey.
Finally, thank you to all of the volunteers who lent a hand and to our staff for making this wonderful event possible. Together, we are all making a difference in the lives of people with Parkinson's.
