Become A Volunteer

We require volunteers to help with many different aspects of our events:

Planning
Committee work
Tasks at the events themselves

To become a volunteer at the Parkinson’s Society of Alberta, please:

Complete the Application and Confidentiality & Nondisclosure forms
Supply the names of two non-family references, and
You may be asked to complete a police security clearance check. This is completed at no charge to the volunteer.

We are always looking for volunteers so please feel free to email Laura or phone her call the society at 780 342-8993 to discuss the various openings we have and what activities you are interested in helping us with!

To complete the form for the police security clearance check, you must visit the Parkinson’s Society of Alberta office, in person, during business hours (8:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday). You must bring with you two pieces of government-issued identification — one of which must be photo ID — to present to one of our staff. This is completed at no charge to you.
